Contact

Due to the considerable volume of unsolicited messages we receive, we have revised the manner in which we may be contacted.

In addition to the unsolicited messages, we also receive a considerable number of emails from individuals seeking assistance with their own family history research. Therefore, before contacting us, we ask that you read the following “rules.” We will not reply to emails that do not adhere to these parameters.
We wish to clarify that we are unable to conduct family history research for you. We do not have the time or resources to do so. We are unaware of any additional information pertaining to the families mentioned in the biographical sketches extracted from the History of Toronto and County of York. There are numerous resources available on the Internet that can assist individuals with their genealogical research. We suggest that a good place to start is the links page on this site.
We do not claim to be experts on Toronto history. We are a team of individuals with an interest in the history of the city. The information presented on this site has been obtained through a process of research, which has involved the use of both online resources and printed books on the subject. Libraries continue to be an invaluable source of information, and if you are in the Toronto area, the Toronto Reference Library, located near Bloor and Yonge, has a vast collection of materials on the history of Toronto (some of which are highly specialized and unique).

Should you wish to contact us, we request that you bear in mind the aforementioned information and utilize the contact form.
Please be patient, as we do not dedicate a significant amount of time to this website. Thank you in advance for your interest in our website about Toronto history.
